  FoW's Adam Schlesinger won a Grammy for "A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift Of All!", which was named Best Comedy Album. The songs were written by Adam and David Javerbaum and the album was co-produced by Adam and (sometime FOW keyboardist) Steven Gold.

  Chris Collingwood and friend Rick Murnane have recorded a track for a tribute record to fellow Northampton, MA resident Mark Mulcahy. The song, called "Cookie Jar," appears on "Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of Mark Mulcahy," a diverse collection featuring contributions from Thom Yorke, Frank Black, Michael Stipe, and many others.

  Adam Schlesinger has received an Emmy nomination for the song "Much Worse Things", co-written with David Javerbaum. The song was performed as a duet by Stephen Colbert and Elvis Costello on the Comedy Central special "A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift Of All!" (now on DVD) and is also available on iTunes.

  The original, long-lost video for "Troubled Times", from Utopia Parkway, has graciously been posted by someone on YouTube. The video was shot by the band in Japan during their 1999/2000 tour on Super 8 film and was never released outside Japan.
