Chris Collingwood will be performing select solo acoustic concerts this spring: Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, WV on April 25th; Joe's Pub in NYC on April 29 with the Davenports, as well as The Iron Horse in Northampton, MA on June 7th, opening for The Campbell Apartment.
"Cry-Baby", the Broadway musical based on the 1990 John Waters movie of the same name, is starting previews at NYC's Marquis Theater in March and opens officially on April 24th. The songs were co-written by FoW's Adam Schlesinger and Daily Show Executive Producer David Javerbaum. For more info, go to crybabyonbroadway.com. Jody Porter performs on Juliana Hatfield's new album "How To Walk Away" comes out June 10th. Look for Jody's solo debut album, "Close To The Sun", to be released this summer.
Brian Young has produced a track for an upcoming Posies tribute disc. He'll also be performing at the band's 20th anniversary concert in Seattle on May 14th. Besides recent studio projects with Gerry Beckley and Sara Watkins, Brian also can be heard playing on the new release, "Saturnalia" by Mark Lanegan and Greg Dulli.
A special Fountains of Wayne "Live from the Apple Store - Soho" ep, taken from an in-store performance in April, is now available for download from the iTunes store.
